In High School, Gopher class of 1965, he was very active in band and subsequently in later years involved in his classes Alumni Association. Lynn played, coached, and umpired church leagues softball. He retired from AMSCO Steel as their Vice President. Lynn was very musically inclined – he was in barbershop quartets and was involved in singing and directing the church choirs in Grand Prairie and Arlington. He had a strong faith in God and was a very loyal family man.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Joe Inman; his father, Frank Horatio Withers; and his brother, Peanut Withers.
He is survived by, his wife of 49 years, (High School Sweetheart) Sharon Inman; children, Shonna Inman Stringer and her husband Wayland; grandchildren, Jessica Stringer and Laura Stringer Flood; great grandchildren, Connor Flood, and Gabriel Haney; siblings, Delinda Pettitt, Leamon Withers, Clifton Withers, Sally Johnson and Naney Pontremoli; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
