Born on February 24, 1961, in Magnolia, Arkansas, to Winston Sherman and Betty Rose Luckey, Deborah graduated from Magnolia High School. In 1980, she proudly joined the United States Army, serving with distinction in Germany and the Netherlands, until her honorable discharge in 1985. Following her military service, Deborah pursued her passion by obtaining her cosmetology license and later worked for many years in the healthcare field.
Later in life, Deborah found profound spiritual fulfillment as a Jehovah’s Witness at the Kingdom Hall. She was celebrated for her loving spirit, outgoing personality, and impeccable sense of style. Her passions included shopping, traveling, and cooking for her family, always putting others first.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Winston Sherman Sr. and Betty Rose Luckey, and her sisters, Flora Jean, Joe Ann, and Sheila.
She leaves behind her daughter, Jenae, her granddaughter, Gabrielle, her brother, Winston, her sisters, Debbie (Twin) and Mary Ann (Derek), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish her memory.
