In this obituary, parents mourn the loss of their daughter who passed away much too young at the age of 43. They ask readers to not only remember her beautiful spirit, but to remember to live life to the fullest because it's much too short.
Claudia Dawn Easterling (Deah), a beloved daughter, mother, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. Deah left this world unexpectedly at 43, on January 23, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Clanton, Alabama on January 7, 1978 to Michael and Lori Boggs. Deah grew up in Clanton, just south of Birmingham, Alabama.
Deah was funny, outgoing, and vivacious, but she was also introverted and introspective, a symbol of power, beauty and grace. She was fiercely loyal to her friends and family. We will always remember her infectious smile, piercing blue eyes and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will surely be missed.
The world is less without her but Heaven is better with her. She rests peacefully in her saviors arms and rejoices with her family that departed before her.
When you think of Deah, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile, and should be lived to the fullest.
She leaves behind her fiancé, Jerry (Jay) Trussell, her parents, Michael and Lori, step-mother: Debbie, Her sisters, Desiree and Amanda, a brother, John-Michael and her children: daughter, Mickori, sons, Bailey and Darren, Grandparent, Teddy Boggs and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The family will have a private funeral. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made in Claudia Easterling's name to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
