Born the youngest of four, he was the only son of his family. They were raised in a small modest house, filled with loved and adventures. (He may have been the youngest, but he was "scrappy" and wouldn't back down from a challenge).
Though he didn't graduate high school, he was able to get his GED. He took pride in learning new things by himself, and excelling in expanding his knowledge.
The day he met Helen was the day his life changed. They married at the young age 21, they build a life together.
Moving his young family from Waco to Grand Prairie when his career was strong. He was able to find them a house and even build on to it himself, he took pride in raising his children, and later his grandchildren in that home.
He worked at multiple dealerships as a paint and body shop technician, before embarking on his own to open his own shop. This impressive career spanned 45 years.
Becoming a member of the Knights of Columbus, he served his chapter often, helping organize events, volunteering his time, and often seen behind a grill. He was a part of the Flat Track Motorcycle World for over 40 years. He won multiple trophies and awards. One of which was the number 1, first place in the Flat Track Senior Division in 2002, before finally hanging up his helmet for good.
Antonio is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Rodriguez. He is survived by his children, Beatrice Martinez, Tony Rodriguez III, grandchildren, Priscilla Martinez-Gibson, Tony Rodriguez IV, Gracie Rodriguez, Victoria Martinez, Stefanie Martinez, Erica Martinez and his six great-grandchildren. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
