Stanley “Stan” Kalinowski passed away peacefully on June 6th, 2024 in Grand Junction, Colorado. He was born on October 25th, 1947 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At the age of 18, Stan entered the Navy and earned many honors and achievements as a Torpedoman’s Mate Chief Petty Officer.
During his career, Stan and Sandy lived in seven different states. Stan enjoyed golfing, throwing darts, hunting, fishing and bowling with friends.
Stan is survived by his wife, Sandy “Chic” Kalinowski, daughters Stephanie Farmer and Suzzette Malandrucco, six grandchildren and six siblings.
Stan is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Bernice Kalinowski.
A Memorial Service for Stan will be held on Tuesday, June 11th at 3pm at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado, 2830 Riverside Pkwy, Grand Junction, Co 81501.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to HopeWest Hospice (hopewestco.org/donate/) who so graciously cared for him.
