Sharon was born in Chicago, Illinois, to her parents, Bill and Pauline Ludwig, and grew up in the Tinley Park and Oak Forest areas with her seven siblings. After graduating from Hillcrest High, Sharon moved to Colorado where she would meet her husband, Craig, and build a life with their two daughters. Sharon attended Mesa State College (now CMU) and graduated cum laude as a member of the first graduating class of the Masters of Accounting program. She went on to work as a Federal Revenue Agent specializing in small businesses and federal tax code.
Her hobbies included spending time with her granddaughter, gardening, crafting, reading, and enjoying the outdoors with her family. She enjoyed collecting southwestern artwork and pottery, as well as watching Hallmark movies and musicals with her daughters. She loved and supported local artists in addition to live music and theater performances.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Craig Ryan; daughters, Stephanie Ryan (Robert Ross), and Samantha Muhr (Kyle Muhr); granddaughter, Parker; four brothers; three sisters; and a multitude of extended family.
A celebration of life will be planned for April 2025.
