September 25, 1959 - February 16, 2014
Ralph Bradley Scribner, 54, died, unexpectedly, of pneumonia in his home last week.
Ralph, known as Brad in his younger years, was born in Craig, CO, on September 25, 1959. He graduated from Fruita Monument High School in 1977. Shortly after graduation he was in an auto accident, which was formative in his life journey. Ralph's life centered around service. He was passionate about the environment and spent countless hours picking up recyclables that others discarded and volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. Ralph was detail oriented and wore his heart on his sleeve. He also loved his home, gardens, and cats, which were a source of pride and joy.
Ralph was the son of Ron (deceased) and Carolyn Scribner. He was brother to Christina, Katrina, Milissa and Angelia. We are grateful to those who so kindly shared in his life, including Bob Sweeney, the Wells Family, and his many friends at Habitat for Humanity Restore.
Memorial service will be held Sunday, February 23, at Seventh-day Adventist Church, 730 Mesa Avenue, 11:00 a.m.
Donations in Ralph's memory to the Habitat for Humanity Restore of Mesa County are appreciated.
