Louise S. Mullins, 89, now rests in eternal peace, as of July 26th, 2014, with her husband Billie W. Mullins. She was born in South Dakota and grew up in Casper Wyoming. She spent much of her younger life in the west and south where she and Billie raised their family. A resident of Grand Junction for over 30 years, she is survived by her 5 children: Mike, Robert, and Sonia Mullins, Patti Wages, and Karen Kreyeski; 11 grandchildren: Jessica and Christopher Mullins, Nate and Jonathan Mullins, Michael and Jennifer Gentile, Courtney Jackson and Holly Baggett, Teri Kinne Creon, Jake Kinne, and Jill Kinne, and 9 great grandchildren. Louise was well known in the Grand Junction Crafts circuits where she sold her exquisite crocheted and crafted items. She generously gifted neighbors with platters of baked goods at holiday time, and family with her hand made crafts and sewn items. A strong believer in Christianity, she seeded her children’s faith through the Presbyterian Church in Billings, Montana.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the Church of Christ on 2893 Patterson Road, Grand Junction, Colorado. Memorial contributions may be sent in Louise’s name to HopeWest Hospice, 3090 N12th St. #B, Grand Junction, CO 81506.
