Louise M Martinez

She was born on July 5, 1926, to Emilio and Emilia (LaCrue) Romero in Segundo, Colorado

She is survived by son Jerry (MaryEllen) Martinez of Grand Junction; grandchildren Christopher (Christine) Martinez of Denver, Colorado, Christina (Roger) Echartea of Aurora, Colorado, Eloise (Richard) Lucero of Parker, Colorado, Sean (Veronica) Martinez of Corinth, Texas and JJ Martinez of Denver, Colorado; 12 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving her are numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Trinidad Martinez, son Trinidad Nash Martinez, Jr., grandson Joseph Martinez, sisters Roomie Casias, and Nora Aragon, Vicky Romero brothers Johnny Romero, and Rusty Romero. Steve Romero, Alfred Romero.

The family would like to express its deepest gratitude and appreciation for the help and care given to Louise by the Pace Program and Hope West Hospice staff. They were invaluable in the care of Louise and in helping her family through this difficult time. Their kindness was a blessing to her family and we cannot thank them enough.

Services for Louise will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary at 2515 Patterson Rd. Grand Junction, CO 81505

Viewing will be from 9 AM TO 10 AM, Rosary/Services starting at 10 AM, Burial at Memorial Gardens at 12 PM.
