Kathrine Byers Gregory, age 89, of Fruita, CO, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at the HopeWest Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction, CO. Kathrine was born on March 9, 1934 in Corona, CA to Thomas B. Hacker and Erma Wilson Hacker. She graduated from Corona High School in Corona, CA and was a former resident of Middleton, ID and a resident of Fruita, CO for the past 7 years. Kathrine was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and worked as the Office Manager for Dr. Homer Heath in Chico, CA. Kathrine loved her family more than life itself. She was everyone's biggest fan and she will be greatly missed. She invested her interest into her 3 children, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 6 grandpups.
Kathrine is survived by her sons, Brian and Darrel Byers; her daughter, Jerri Shambough; her 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and her 6 grandpups.
A graveside service for Kathrine will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Glen Oaks Cemetery, 11115 Midway, Chico, CA 95928.
