August 8, 1928 - January 7, 2016
Dollie was born to Albert and Jesus Gonzales on August 8, 1928, and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado. She passed away peacefully with her family at HopeWest. Dollie leaves behind her husband of 63 years of marriage. She was saved by the Lord and is in heaven.
Dollie had two sons, Paul J. Vinton of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Glenn A. Vinton of West Fork, Arkansas. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Haley Morgan Vinton of Grand Junction; her favorite daughter-in-law, Sharon Vinton; brother, Juan Gonzales of Whittier, CA, and sister, Jackie Gonzales of Grand Junction.

After graduating from Grand Junction High School, she went to work at St. Mary's Hospital until she was married.
She met Floyd, who was the love of her life. They went to live in Utah since Floyd was employed by the Atomic Energy Commission in the uranium industry. They came back to Grand Junction where she started to raise her family of three boys.
Floyd transferred to Los Alamos, New Mexico, as a Security Inspector. Dollie worked at the Los Alamos School System as a teacher's aide. When the two boys left Los Alamos, she was employed by Los Alamos Medical Center, where she later retired as a Certified Nurse's Aide.
Her hobbies were swimming, camping, fishing, and rafting. After she retired they came back to Grand Junction. Dollie then took up stained glass and collecting chickens.
Dollie lost her first born, when he was three years old; Terry will be waiting for his mother and take her by the hand where they both will go together down the right path.
Graveside services will be held at 26 ¼ Road, Municipal Cemetery in Orchard Mesa on January 23, 2016, at 11:00 a.m.
