Lois Marie Fuller, 96, passed away peacefully at McKay Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Soap Lake, Washington, on September 23, 2024. Born on February 24, 1928, in Oil Trough, Arkansas, to Henry and Sarah Nash, Lois was the youngest of three siblings.
In 1944, Lois met and married the love of her life, Nolen Fuller, in Arkansas. Together, they followed Nolen’s Air Force career across the country, eventually settling in Washington State. On March 9, 1957, Lois and Nolen welcomed twin boys, Kevin and Keith, into their family shortly before Nolen left the Air Force.
In 1970, Lois and Nolen purchased the Dry Falls Cafe and Mini Mart in Coulee City, WA, where they spent many wonderful years working alongside friends and family. Their businesses became a hub of activity and Lois truly loved engaging with the visitors of the restaurant and mini-mart, making lasting connections and memories
Lois treasured spending time with family, especially enjoying casino visits with friends and family get-togethers hosted by her daughter-in-law Kim, surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lois is survived by her sons, Kevin (Kim) and Keith; her grandchildren, Kyle (Brittany), Kraig (Kylie), Erica (Matt), and Kerry; and her great-grandchildren, Nolen, Grayson, Trenton, and Korbin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolen; her brothers, H.C. and Ernest Nash; and her sister, Juanita Smothermon.
A private celebration of life with family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McKay Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lois’s memory.
