So many wonderful memories of time spent with Bunny at Nine Mile and Twin Lakes.  Ice fishing in February at Twin Lakes, playing in Nine Mile Creek in the summer, bountiful Thanksgiving tables, venison drying on old bed springs, always various dogs (Missy, Herkimer, etc.), hummingbirds feeding from old milk jugs hanging from the eaves, sweet alfalfa in the pasture, the chicken Hilton, and Bunny's eyes, sparkling with humor or mischief, her gorgeous hair with thick, unruly waves, always teaching us about wild foods and medicines, and telling us Sinkalip stories.
