Thelma (Mumby) wed Donald B. Yuille on October 1, 1945. They spent just over 50 years married before Donald's passing in 1996. Thelma worked at AC Spark Plug for over 31 years, retiring in 1984.Thelma's family was the most important thing in her life. Together, she and Donald had four beautiful children: Bruce (Jan) Yuille, Ron (Deb) Yuille, Sandra Yuille and Kathryn (Joe) Kobus, 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren with 2 additional great grandchildren on the way. Thelma loved traveling, reading and was an avid University of Michigan sports fan. Most of all, Thelma loved spending time with her family.
Thelma is preceded in death by her husband Donald B. Yuille, her grandson Steven Bruckman II, both of her parents and all of her siblings.
A visitation for Thelma will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home - 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI. A funeral service will occur on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 1:00 PM with a one hour visitation prior at Brown Funeral Home. Thelma will be laid to rest at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Morris, MI.
In lieu of flowers, the Yuille family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Hurley Children's Hospital Miracle Network in Thelma's honor.
