MIELE, STEVEN age 73 of Burton, died Monday, February 14, 2011 at Clair Bridge Assisted Living in Holly, MI. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 17, 2011 at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 609 E. Fifth Ave., Flint, MI. Fr. Philip Gallagher officiating. Entombment will be at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. and 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. and 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Church. Steven was born November 30, 1937 in Detroit, MI to parents Patrick and Garnet “Koppin” Miele. He retired from A.C. Spark Plug after 42 years of service. He sang in the K of C Chorus. Surviving are 5 daughters Michele (Mike) Miller, Sheri (Rick) Samassa, Tracy (Michael) Ragland, Debbie (John) Walter, Denise (Rick) Selley; 10 grandchildren Megan Samassa, Nicholas Samassa, Duncan Ragland, Jacob Miller, Erin Walter, Spencer Miller, Sam Selley, Emily Walter, Sara Selley, Kate Walter; 4 sisters Diane Barton, Grace Brennock, Teri Lenox, Tina Dunikowski; brother David Miele. Steven was preceded in death by his wife Pat, May 15, 2006. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
