UPTON, LINDA LOU age 64, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the Genesys Hospice Care Center. Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd. Grand Blanc, MI. Interment at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Friday from 12:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Linda was born November 30, 1947 in Flint, MI to parents Allen and Elsie (Cline) Combs. She enjoyed crafts and hobbies, but most of all she loved to talk and spend time with friends and family. She was a true friend to everyone she encountered. . Surviving are husband Marvin; son Kevin (Liz) Upton; brother Bill (Marcia) Combs; sister Connie Baker; several nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and brother Allen “Butch” Combs. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
