Harry Knaski – Age 71, of Grand Blanc, died Monday, April 14, 2014 at Genesys Health Park. Mr. Knaski was born May 16, 1942 in Detroit the son of Alec and Sophie Knaski. Harry was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He served his country with the U.S. Marine Reserves. Harry enjoyed fishing, boating and his cabin up north. Mr. Knaski retired from General Motors where he worked as an Electrician. On October 17, 1970 Harry married Sharon Humphrey nee Popplewell and she survives him. Also surviving are children, Linda (Wally) Bujak, John (Thao) Humphrey, Elizabeth (David) Hewes; grandchildren, Cassie (Nick) Marquardt, Samuel and Jonathan Hewes; great granddaughter, Isabella Marquardt; sisters, Esther Czarnik and Antoinette Carson; many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit the family from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. A Rosary will be prayed 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a Knights of Columbus Memorial Service. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Father Jonathan Perrotta will officiate.
