TURNER, George L. – Age 91, of Grand Blanc, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Genesys Hospice. Mr. Turner was born January 29, 1921 in Gaines, MI the son of George M. and Eva (Trudeau) Turner. He served his country during W.W. II with the U.S. Navy. George was a member of Atherton United Methodist Church and enjoyed bowling and bingo. For 43 years he worked for General Motors. Surviving are his wife Josephine Turner, son, Robert (Beth) Turner, daughter Linda (Gene) Carpenter, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sister, Shirley Sedrick. Friends may visit the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hill Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
