Dennis John Smith born September 15, 1951 in Manistique, Michigan to John and Mary (Garant) Smith, passed away at home on Sunday, June 7, 2020 in Davison, Michigan. Dennis was involved in his church, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Burton, as an usher. He was also an avid fishermen and hunter. Dennis worked for General Motors as a pipefitter for 38 years before retiring. Dennis was happily married to his wife Karol for 50 years.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Karol; son, Kirk (Alexia); Daughter, Carrie Brown (Lonnie); grandchild, Nathan Smith; and his brother Ken Smith (Sally).
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Smith and his brother Wayne Smith.
A Memorial Mass is being held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Burton on Friday, June 12 at 12PM with a hour of visitation prior at 11AM
