I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Bridget. I looked through the photos and read the shared memories, and she clearly was a beautiful woman inside and out. Although she had so much more life to live, she seemed to have led a remarkable life and touched her family and friends in unforgettable ways. I’m sure the family will not be the same without her and I will keep you all in my prayers during  this time of loss and sadness.

Bridget and I worked together for the last 6 of my 18 years at EMEC. Although we lived in different parts of the country since 1992, my fond memories of our time shared can still bring a smile. 
She was a strong, caring , confident person. She met life’s challenges head on and lived life to its fullest, lovingly, courageously, creatively and with a “joie de vivre” that was contagious.  
Someone wrote “ grief is love with nowhere to go”. I saw Bridget take her love and spread it as far and wide as she could. May we strive to do the same in her honor.

Taking Bridget and Andrew to my 3rd grade show and tell. I remember this childhood memory so clearly.  Aunt Bridget was such a presence in my growing up years. She helped teach me to be a strong, independent woman. I still can’t believe she is gone, that smile of hers and laugh will forever be engrained in my heart.

Dearest Charlesworth and Ignace families, I was so sorry to learn of Bridget’s passing.  You are all in my thoughts, and I’m sending a long distance hug to you, Debbie and Kimi. ❤️

With a heavy heart I will like to send my sympathy and condolences to Ms Bridget family and her boyfriend John. I was blessed to meet Ms Bridget during her short stay on my unit where we become friends fast. We has alot in common. She is and was one special lady. Learning of her passing this evening just made my night a little longer. I knew Ms Bridget was going to be a grandmother of 3 expecting her first granddaughter. I know Ms Bridget was truly excited. I hope that they had the chance to meet. Sending a hedge of protection and prayer. Take one day at a time family.. The world lost a beacon of light. Bridget is the essence of love and light. She is a brave warrior who touched all of us. I had the privilege of meeting her at the Wharton School of Business in the 90’s and  was struck by her brilliance, kindness and humor. We spent time in Traverse City and the beaches of Delaware. Bridget was a very good friend of mine these past 30+ yrs having first met her at East MI Eye Center where she was an outstanding executive.
We socialized on many occasions always having an enjoyable time together. She was so supportive of my family and me no matter the problem, a very empathetic and caring friend. She had an ability to make one feel special. Bridget will be dearly missed. May she rest in peace and may God bless her family and friends.

I met Bridget at the ASOA Wharton Program for ophthalmic administrators in 1994.  We bonded that week and she was a special friend ever since.  She mentored me, supported me, and challenged me to be more than I thought I ever could be.  We laughed a lot and also shared some tears as we both experienced the highs and lows of life.  I looked forward to spending time together at the meetings we both attended where we would hang out with dear friends, dance, drink wine and enjoy our friendship.  She came to my rescue when I got lost in San Francisco!  We had an amazing time in Delaware with our dear friend Mike Abel and Judy Kirby.  So many memories.  I will miss her.

Andrew, I am so very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I remember her from your high school days, and how proud she was of you. I will be out of town for her funeral, but will be thinking of you.

My Aunt Digie was a huge part of my life growing up. She was always so much fun to spend time with and I always looked forward to it. I don’t remember everything because I was young at the time. But I remember she came to my family’s annual golf tournament and it had been such a long time since I last saw her. I was so excited that I forgot how big I had grown in that time and went to jump into her arms for a hug like I did so many times before. When I did she caught me but we both fell over onto the ground at the first tee box. Looking back on it is embarrassing since I was probably too old and definitely too big to do that. I also probably hurt her quite a bit but she never showed it. We all laughed about it and I think it’s a telling memory of who she was to everyone which is simply loved.

Bridgette was a wonderful friend of mine during Grand Blanc High School years, especially playing sports together.  We both enjoyed volleyball and basketball and I will always remember her smile and athleticism. We had a great time together! May God Bless you all during this time, Donna Frakes Naras

Bridget was a dear friend to my dad and a wonderful friend to our family.  I will forever be grateful for the love and support she wrapped around our family. We are so sorry to hear about Bridget.  My brother, the late Dr Kalstein, valued her capable assistance in his practice and personal friendship. She had an amazing ability to make everyone feel welcome, and she will be missed.
