Yvonne Hancock Clausen, 91, of Sanford, Florida went home to be the Lord on Friday December 23, 2016. She was born on April 29, 1925 in Myakka, Florida. She moved to Sanford in 2005. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. Yvonne enjoyed quilting and was a gardener. She was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Clausen, grandson, Larry Clausen, brothers, Everett Hancock, Kenneth Hancock, and sister, Opal Ann Ewaldt. She is survived by her sons, Daniel (Susie) and Robert (Rose) Clausen, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, her sister, Pat Cheney and brothers, Royce, and Barney Hancock. Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 28, 2016 from 11:30 am to 12:00 noon with a funeral service at 12:00 noon at The Open Door Church 601 East Airport Blvd. Sanford, Florida 32773.Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home is entrusted to arrangements.
