Tamara Somerville was born July 23rd 1959 in Anderson, Indiana. She was the daughter of Bobby F. Stidd (U.S Navy) and Margaret Jean (Bullington) Stidd. She graduated from Madison Heights High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Education from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Tamara then moved to Florida with her sister, Deborah. She soon found employment at Walt Disney World. It was there that she met her future husband John Somerville. In 1982 they had a daughter, Samantha. In 2008 she was diagnosed with breast cancer which she beat and went into remission to become a breast cancer survivor. She continued to fight other medical issues even as her health declined. Tamara enjoyed reading, crafts and spending time with her family. She was an avid animal lover who took pleasure in adopting and taking care of multitude pets. She is survived by her Husband John Somerville, Daughter Samantha Somerville, and Sister Deborah Stidd-Schulman. Tamara will be deeply missed by her family, friends and beloved pets.
