Swarsatie Persaud

Swarsatie Persaud, age 83, of Winter Garden, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024. She was born in Guyana on February 17, 1941. She was married to Moniram Persaud on February 25, 1962. She was not only an amazing wife and mother, but was also a loving grandmother to her ten grandchildren. She was a member of the Vedic community and loved to garden, sew, and spend time with her family and had a passion for hairdressing.

She was survived by her husband, Moniram Persaud, her children Anjanie, Amrita, Nalini, and Parmanand and her grandchildren Vijay, Shivana, Nirvani, Trisha, Navindra, Vincent, Nicholas, Avinash, Nitesh, and Austin and her great grandchildren Reenie and Ryko.

The void she leaves in our hearts is profound, for she touched each of our lives with such grace and love. Her absence will be felt in every moment, in every smile she inspired, and in every act of kindness she encouraged. We will miss her, not just for who she was, but for the beautiful soul she helped us all become.

A visitation for Swarsatie will be held Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A funeral service will occur Monday, December 16, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A religious ceremony will occur Monday, December 16, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Woodlawn Crematory, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
