Hi Mom, this poem is for me while I am remembering you just this fleeting moment. I am crying, I am wiping my tears. I am laughing, I am wiping my tears.  I am telling friends and family that you are gone and yes, I am still wiping my tears.  I wish they were a different kind of tears. I wish they were the kind of happy tears like when you had the opportunity to travel from St. Vincent to Grenada and then to the United States.  Some happy tears with you I will always remember is the day we traveled from Grenada to The United States; the day I graduated from high school, the day I joined the Army, my wedding day, my first born, my first grandchild, and graduation from graduate school.   I am sad because there will be no more firsts. There will be no more tears with you mom. May you rest in eternal peace with the arms of the Lord tightly wrapped around you.  Will love you always. My condolences to the Baptiste family. I am a co-worker and a friend of Donna’s for over 40 years. Stephanie must have been a person  of great wisdom and judgement to have brought forth an exceptional person like Donna. I hope that she led a joyful life and leaves behind many fond memories to you all.
