Rita Mary Gazaway

Rita Mary Gazaway, 71, of Orlando, Florida passed away on July 17, 2014. She was born to the late Anthony and Helen Lariviere in Chicopee, Massachusetts on October 30, 1942. Rita was married to her husband Kenneth E. Gazaway for 46 years. With Ken in the Air Force, Rita spent her life caring for her family and being greatly involved in the military life. She was involved with the Red Cross, Military Wives Clubs, Family Services Auxiliary, and the Air Force Sergeants Association. Rita loved her family and all things family-oriented. She spent a large majority of her life caring for her son, Scott Montgomery, who passed in 2013. Rita was a certified Caregiver. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in her passing by her parents; Son Scott Montgomery; and Sisters Yvonne Paul and Irene Prunier.

Rita is survived by her husband, Ken Gazaway; Sons Robert Montgomery (Diana) and Kevin Gazaway (Lisa); Daughter Beth Doan; 8 Grandchildren; and 3 Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26 from 1:00pm-2:00pm with a Service beginning at 2:00pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. Burial to follow Service at Woodlawn Cemetery.
