Lillian E. Chapman of Orlando, FL, passed away Sunday, Feb. 21,2021. She was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on March 2, 1930. Lil graduated from St Mary’s Catholic HS, and received her high school diploma. She was married to Leon F. Chapman on Dec. 24, 1975.
Lillian worked in Human Resources for C.N.A of Orlando. She was a member of Italian American Social Club & the Eagles, and had a passion for dancing, singing, gardening and directing variety shows at the club. She was survived by her loving husband, Leon F. Chapman and her children Michael Vaganek, Dan Vaganek, and Maryann Schoch. Valerie Vaganek and Frances Porter; Gary and Olga Vaganek. Her grandchildren Daniel Schubiger, Caitlin Schubiger, Chelsea Keller (Cody Keller), Blade Vaganek, Asia Vaganek and Alessandra Vaganek, and her sisters June Toth and Elaine Himich.
A visitation will be held on Thursday February 25, 2021 at 11:00am, a service to begin at 12:00pm and an entombment service; all at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home. (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road Gotha, FL 34734).
In lieu of flowers you may wish to give a gift to the Daniel Wayne Schubiger Special Needs Trust Fund, which is in the Florida United Methodist Foundation. Daniel is Lillian and Leon’s 34 year old grandson. The trust was set up to help meet Daniel’s needs after his parents’ passing. Lillian expressed her desire to give to the fund upon her death.
