Kathryn Aldrich Anderson

Kathryn Aldrich Anderson, a resident of Mount Dora, passed away Friday the 10th of September. Born in 1950 in Providence, Rhode Island, Kathryn married William Brice Anderson in 1973 in Florida. She gave birth to her son, William Brice Anderson II in 1984. She received a Business degree from Rollins College. Kathryn worked at Plymouth Citrus Products. She then went on to work at Lockheed Martin for 37 years before retiring in 2018.

After retiring, Kathryn moved next door to her son, William, his wife, Jessica, and their two children, Abby and Brice. Kathryn loved doting on her grandchildren and spending time each day with her family. She enjoyed helping her grandkids with their lemonade stands, playing board games with them, having them over for sleepovers, and doing arts and crafts with them. She enjoyed getting to travel with William, Jessica and her grandkids, including taking cruises to the Caribbean and exploring Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia. Kathryn loved decorating for every occasion, making deviled eggs, and dressing up and giving out candy for Halloween to the pure delight of her grandchildren.

She was always a joy to be around and could be found socializing with everyone at any gathering. She was loved by so many because of her kindness and compassion. She brought so much joy and happiness to any occasion. She will be so greatly missed, but we are comforted in knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior in heaven. Her grandkids already look up to the sky and have conversations with Grandma, who they loved more than anyone in the world.

A funeral service for Kathryn will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church of Eustis, 117 S. Center Street, Eustis, FL 32726.
