Julius Harry Sasser

Julius Harry Sasser, 88, of Winter Park, FL a native of Ashford, Alabama, died on Monday, March 6, 2017, in the care of Hospice of the Comforter. Mr. Sasser was born December 15, 1928 in Ashford, Alabama, a son of Joe E. and Etta Merritte Sasser. He moved to Orange County in 1959. Mr. Sasser was a retired firefighter with the United States Air Force and a retired firefighter and Deputy Chief with Maitland, Florida.

Mr. Sasser is survived by his daughter, Kathryn Sasser of Mount Dora, FL, son, Harry Sasser of Oak Hill, FL, grandson, William Julius Sasser of Marlington, WVA serving in the US Army, and brother, Joe Sasser of Dothan, AL. Mr. Sasser is preceded by eldest son, Charles Frank Sasser from Panama City, FL.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Baldwin-Fairchild Ivanhoe, 301 NE Ivanhoe Blvd, Orlando, FL 32804.
