Julio de Los Santos Lopez Y Jimenez, age 95, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. He was born in Guanabacoa, Cuba on November 1, 1928. He was married to Isabel Ignacia De La Caridad Lopez Gonzalez on October 11, 1952. Julio had a career in Food and Beverage for Rosie O'Grady's, Carton House, Holiday Inn, Sheraton Twin Towers and Peabody.
He was a member of Cuban Society Club and had a passion for baseball, big band music and classic movies.
Julio is survived by his children, Ileana Boche-Lopez, Mayra C. Deeter, Julieta Urquiola and Alfred Lopez; his grandchildren, Sandra Nieves, Amanda Deeter, Connor Lopez, Ricco Boche, Gina Boche-Barfield, Jerald T. Urquiola and Nicholas J. Urquiola; his great grandchildren, Kaili Schodowski, Hazel Casey, Daniel Nieves, Liana Nieves, Matthew Nieves, Sophia Urquiola, Isabella Urquiola, Joshua Barfield, Madi Barfield and Isaac Barfield. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Mercedes Lopez, Josefina Lopez and Tita Lopez.
A visitation for Julio will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00pm also at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
