John Christopher Allen

John C. Allen “J.C.” was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 15, 1982, and left this world peacefully in his sleep June 13, 2016. John was born with a brain tumor and endured the effects of the tumor and side effects of radiation treatment his entire life. His favorite saying was from Sir Winston Churchill: "Never, never, never give up."

John graduated from the First Academy in 2001, where his favorite teacher was Scott Toenges and fellow Georgia Bulldog fan Principal Ralph Walton. He went on to graduate from University of Central Florida with a degree in Criminal Justice and pursued his passion in motorcycles with a degree in motorcycle mechanics from MMI.

He is survived by his parents Richard Allen, Jr. and Judy Allen. His brother, protector and best friend, Richard Allen III and amazing and loving sis-in-law Brandy, loving and special nephew Richard Allen IV, his very special niece Gracie and awesome nephew Grant, who promises to be every bit as independent as J.C.. Additionally J.C. is survived by his very special cookie-making grandmother Carole Simpkin, who never failed to make sure he got a "to go" care package while he was away at school or home taking care of his pugs, Jackson, Abby and Samantha.

J.C. is also survived by Uncle J.R. (Beth) Allen, Vicki (Chuck) Dresbach, Lori (Tom) Willke, Aunt Carole Steinke, Uncles Jack, Terry (couldn't bag a deer if it were in front of him), Jim (Patricia) and Tom Simpkin. Special cousins Brittany, Teresa, Eric, Adam and Andrew.

Predeceasing John and welcoming him into the gates of heaven to the Angels were grandparents, Richard and Marcella Allen, John A. Simpkin, aka "Taxi" because he drove J.C. back and forth to 6 weeks of radiation treatment; and special Aunt Cindy.

John's favorite bible verse: John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life."

A funeral Service for J.C. will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18th at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha FL, 34734
