She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 26, 1952.
Ever since she was young, Jane’s life-long passion was to be a nurse. She graduated from Barry University and received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida. She and her husband raised their children in Port Saint Lucie, FL. She worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart, FL before moving up to Orlando to be closer to her family. She continued her impressive career in Orlando working as a director for many hospitals and health care facilities.
She was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Margie Tedamonson, and her brother, Gerry Tedamonson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Ronald, their three wonderful children, Melissa Meyer, Matthew Meyer, and Andrew Meyer (Suzanne), and her 6 beautiful grandchildren; Connor Huneycutt (21), Madison Huneycutt (15), Kaitlyn Meyer (14), Jett Meyer (13), Zackary Meyer (11), and Thomas Meyer (7).
In addition to her immediate family, Jane is survived by her brother Alan Tedamonson (Jackie), sisters Linda Marshall (John Wolfe), Lori Wilkinson (John Theisen), Cindy Tedamonson, and many nieces and nephews.
Jane loved her church families of Immanuel Lutheran, in Palm City, FL, and most recently Salem Lutheran Church. She never met a stranger, and you could find her singing joyfully with her church choir. She happily dedicated her life to the service of others.
After retirement, Jane’s greatest joy was spoiling her six grandchildren. She loved taking them to Disney and making sure she got the picture-perfect moment, no matter what.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 3rd at 1:00pm, at Salem Lutheran Church, in Orlando, Florida. It will also be live streamed on Facebook. Please wear bright colors to honor Jane and the radiance she brought everywhere she went.
