Deborah Ann Durkee, 67, of Mascotte, FL, passed away on September 27, 2024 with her husband by her side. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 7, 1957. Deborah moved to Florida in 1966 with her family when she was 9 years old. She graduated high school in 1976 from Oak Ridge High School.
Deborah was married to Glenn Durkee on January 20, 1977 and were married for 47 years.
Deborah worked in several industries in her youth, but her longest and most favorite was being a homemaker by being a mother and raising her two children.
Deborah had a passion for traveling (she loved a good road trip), family time, country music, and holding her grandbaby. She especially loved the holidays and any reason for her family to be together. She also enjoyed watching re-runs of The Walton’s, Little House on the Prairie, and Wind at My Back.
Deborah is survived by her beloved husband, Glenn; children, Kenneth Durkee, Margaret (Kristopher) Kouvaras; grandchild, Erik Kouvaras; siblings, David (Denise) Ferber, Vivian (Steven) Durkee, Joseph Ferber, Marilyn Ferber, Diana Seal, Karen (Duane) Newman, Cynthia Beauchamp, Elizabeth (Micky) Null, Larry (Trina) Durkee, and Randall (Deborah) Durkee. She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Donna Ferber, and brother, Francis M. Ferber.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Tunnel of Towers Foundation.
