David Ray Spears, 67, a native of Orlando, Florida passed away on July 14, 2015. He was born on October 2, 1947 in Orlando to the late Coston Jack and Lucille (Murphy) Spears. David was employed with Thomas Lumber Co. for over 40 years. He was a member of Goss United Methodist Church on South Street, that later became Trinity United Methodist Church. David would read the newspaper daily, cover to cover along with his bible. He was a sports enthusiast who rooted for Tampa Bay Rays, U of F and the Miami Dolphins. David is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Kathy Spears; sons, David (Kim) Spears and Mike Spears; sister, Jackie (Larry) Carr and his two granddaughters, Kylie and Courtney.
