Not a day goes by that something reminds me of you and Pops... thank you so much for everything you made me to be

Mom was all too happy when the engagement became official.

Mike, Julie, Chris & Norm; Your mom, "Ma Peters" to the rest of us, was one of the loveliest, kindest, sweetest souls I ever met. Her endearing little grin when she had a house full of us teenagers, most that didn't belong to her, was heartwarming and always welcoming. She always made everyone feel like they belonged, and you could tell she cared deeply for all of us. All these years later, I still received and looked forward to her Christmas letter, which she continued to sign "Ma Peters". I will miss her presence in my life, but it brings me joy to think of her once again reunited with Pops, who is undoubtedly sitting around a table playing Euchre, talking smack.
All these years later, and all the distance between us, I still think of each of you as family. My heart goes out to you and I hope the beautiful memories of this wonderful woman console your heart.
