She was born in Herkimer, NY and came to Apopka in the early 70’s to be with her future husband, Charlie and his children. Barbara loved to help people. She was a L.P.N for many years and in her late 40’s went back to college to become a Registered Nurse (R.N). She retired in 2006 but that didn’t slow her down. She would visit her old workplaces as a volunteer or help with her church. She showed her love in many ways, one of which was her cooking. She was known for her banana bread and banana pudding!
She was a member of Apopka’s Maranatha Seventh Day Adventist Church and loved volunteering. Her favorites were anything that involved cooking or children however even when on a walker or wheelchair bound she could still be seen helping in any way possible. Her dedication to her church and the Lord was seen day in and out.
She is predeceased by husband Charles (Charlie) Hall, son Matthew Hall and her 4 brothers. She is survived by her children: daughter, Dorothy Hall; sons, Clifford Hall, Ronald Hall, John Hall, Nathaniel Hall as well as grand-daughter Stephanie Rodriguez in addition to several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial service on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 2PM-3PM with burial services at 3PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
