Allison is survived by her husband, Paul Morris, Jr. of Orlando, Florida; her parents, Robert and Lynda (Labuzeta) Stankavage; her twin sister, Tracy Stankavage, all of Bridgeport, New York and Tracy’s boyfriend Quint Zambon of Crystal Lake, Illinois; her Godparents, Leona Deibert and Thomas Hornak, both of Pennsylvania; her mother and father in-laws, Paul and Laura Morris, her brother in-law, Benjamin Morris and his wife Caitlin and their daughter Madeline (her favorite niece), her brother in-law Daniel Morris all of Leicester, Massachusetts; and her Godson Samuel Miglin of Williamsville, New York.
Allison was born on July 20, 1986 in Syracuse, New York. She attended Chittenango High School where she won numerous league and Sectional titles in track. Allie was the New York State Class B champion in the 400 meter hurdles in 2004. She was a member of the 2002 girls varsity soccer team that competed for the state title. She was inducted to the Chittenango Athletic Hall of Fame in 2015. Allison attended Duke University, where she graduated with a degree in Mathematics. She was a member of the Duke Track and Field team as a middle distance runner.
After graduating from Duke, Allison moved to Orlando to begin her professional career with The Walt Disney Company. This was a dream job as she always thought she would be a princess. Allison was able to translate her passion for running to her numerous roles on the runDisney Team, including sponsorship activations and Expo operations and sales and also appearing in numerous advertisements for various races.
Allison was always full of energy, excitement and happiness, which was always showcased by her amazing smile. Allie was an avid runner, completing numerous half marathons as well as the Miami Marathon. Allie also enjoyed playing beach volleyball, softball, and rowing events for Disney Cast Members and rooting for the Patriots on Sundays. Allie loved to cook and experiment in the kitchen with her husband and has a large showcase of their delicious creations on her Instagram page.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday July 13, 2017 at 11:00am at Woodlawn Memorial Funeral Home (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734) with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Allie’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Orlando Health Foundation (http://www.orlandohealthfoundation.com) and note that the donation support the UF Health Cancer Center. There will be an additional memorial service in Syracuse, New York at a later date.
