William “Wayde” Viss of Buckeye, Arizona passed away May 31, 2023 at the age of 35. He was born January 2, 1988 in Phoenix, Arizona to William David and Jo Lynn Viss. He was preceded in death by his daughter Dixi Kay Viss.
Wayde is survived by his fiancé and best friend Adrienne M. West, daughters Daisy May Viss and Ivy June Viss, father and step-mother William and Mia Viss, mother JoLynn Viss, Brother Slayde Viss and his wife Lacey Viss and their children Libby, Virgil, and Wren, brother Cayde Viss and his wife Kaitlyn and their children Wyatt, Wayne, and Warren, and his sister Victoria Veronica Viss.
In Wayde’s early years, he attended Litchfield Elementary, Western Sky Middle, and Agua Fria High Schools. Wayde met Delilah Brisby in 2008 and had two beautiful daughters during their ten years together. He loved being a father and enjoyed spending time with his girls.
In 2014, Wayde began working in the oilfields as a pipefitter, all the while practicing welding every night after work. In 2015, he acquired his welding certification and began working as a rig welder. He worked in many states for large industrial construction companies. Wayde loved welding and went on to become a master welder. He was proficient at all forms of specialty welding. Wayde was a very hard worker and took pride in his welding abilities. In January of 2021, Wayde started his own company, “Wayde’s Welding Service.”
In his free time, Wayde enjoyed fishing, reading, hanging out with his family for family game night and jumping at the trampoline park with his daughter. He was also a member of the Men’s Group at his church. Grilled cheese sandwiches were always an option for any meal, and he knew the secret to making the best one. Wayde enjoyed being fit and worked out regularly. He loved people and never met a stranger. His generous heart led him to help anyone in need.
Wayde will be very missed by his family and friends. He loved spending time laughing with them and just being together. He was intelligent, loving, generous, kind, and humble. He was a bright and beautiful human and there will be a large empty place in our hearts without him.
