Tara Michelle Shermerhorn

 Tara was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend who always brought joy into every situation she encountered. As a key member in the West Valley business community, Tara’s passionate demeanour was evident in everything she accomplished. She was an Honorary Commander at Luke Air Force Base with the Component Maintenance Squadron and attended Palm Valley Church.

Tara is survived by her parents Debra Gasson and Glen Shermerhorn. Her father, William Gasson preceded her in death. She is also survived by her sisters; Jessi Castillo, Stefanie Letcher, Corey Gasson, Maggie & Molly Shermerhorn, Nicole and Shilo Mann, Martha Northey and Lucey Williamson and sister-in-law Ashley Gasson, her brothers Alex and Matthew Gasson, brothers-in-law Danny Castillo and Lenny Letcher; nieces Taylor Letcher, Alyssa James, Leena Gasson; her nephew Brady Castillo; maternal grandmother Doreen Mantz and paternal grandparents Louisa and Cal Shermerhorn. Donald Mantz (maternal grandfather) preceded her in death as well.

 A visitation for Tara will be held Thursday, February 10th, 2011 from 6-8pm at Radiant Church, 15522 West Paradise Lane, Surprise, AZ 85374. Services for Tara will be the following afternoon, also at Radiant Church, at 1 pm Friday, February 11th, 2011. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale, AZ.
