Rufina ‘ Granma “ Antunez of Avondale, AZ died June 10, 2012 at the age of 89. Rufina was born in Duncan, Arizona August 21, 1922 to Cleofas and Ysidore Diaz Montoya. She loved everybody and she was known as “Granma” and Nana. She was a homemaker who raised 5 boys and one girl on her own and all of them grew up to be successful adults. She is survived by children Jimmy, Gilbert, Ronnie, Mike, Jerry and Barbara as well as many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday June 14, 2012 at 6:00 pm at Thompson’s Valley West Funeral Chapel with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Service is Friday at 10:00 am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 E. La Posada Blvd., Goodyear, AZ. Under the care of Thompson’s Valley West Funeral Chapel.
