Roland (Rollie) William Phillips, Jr., 67, of Goodyear, AZ entered into Our Lord’s Arms on October 31, 2010. He was born on January 13, 1943 in Buffalo, NY to Roland Sr. and Florence Phillips.
Roland is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Elaine, daughters Colleen and Darlene, sons Anthony and David, mother Florence, sister Dorothy and brother Richard Phillips, grandchildren Nate, Rollie, and Nina Zamora, Little Anthony and Candice Velez, 5 great-grandchildren, numerous relatives and friends, fellow workers and business associates whose lives will always and forever be touched by a truly righteous and principled man. Rollie believed strongly in truth and honor. Family meant the world to him. He was preceded in death by his father Roland William Phillips Sr.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5-8pm at Thompson’s Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd., Goodyear, AZ. Services will be the following morning, Saturday, November 6 at 11:00am.
