Ralph G. Rice

Ralph retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. He belonged to the Pipes Trade Union Local 469 as a HVAC technician. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club, road name “Shadow”. He was very dedicated to the Causes of Veterans.

Ralph is survived by his beloved wife of 12 years, Karen, his daughter Jennifer Kelley (Robert) of Tucson, AZ, 1 granddaughter Veronica, 2 step-children, 2 step-grandchildren, his mother Rita and 7 siblings Roseann Casey (Terry), Patrick (Kathleen), Bernadette Sylvestri (Frank), Kevin, James (Gillian), Ronald (Mary Beth), Rita (John) Bevacqua, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph.

Viewing for Ralph will be Wednesday, July 13 from 7-9 pm at Thompson’s Valley West Funeral Chapel at 926 S. Litchfield Rd in Goodyear. A short funeral service will be held Thursday July 14 at 9:00 am at Thompson’s Valley West Funeral Chapel, followed by committal service at National Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. in Phoenix at 10:30am.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Vietnam Veterans organizations.
