Linda P Skocz of Buckeye, AZ died on Sept 18, 2015. She was born on July 15, 1952 to Donald and Anita Sword of Chicago, IL. Linda was a self-taught gourmet cook. She was dearly loved by her family. Linda is survived by her husband of 41 years, Rodney Skocz; her daughter, Nichole Marie Gruenes; her son, John Rodney Skocz; her parents, Donald and Anita Sword; her brother, Jeffery Donald Sword and five grandchildren, Robert Gruenes, William Gruenes, Ryan Skocz, Madison Skocz and Kayleigh Skocz. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. A visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 am on Wed Sept 23, 2015 with a Celebration of Life to immediately follow at 11:00 am at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ 85338. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that a donation be made to the American Cancer Society in Linda’s name.
