Mr. Seavert was a graduate of Sargent County High School in Forman, ND and Valley City State College in Valley City, ND. He earned his Masters Degree from the University of Minnesota. He worked in education for 39 years as a high school teacher, coach, and MN referee. He was also an Executive Director of Education in the Minnesota Teachers Union.
Mr. Seavert is survived by his wife Kathy Seavert, daughters Lindsey Harrison (Ian) and Allyson Hammer (Carlos), brother Michael Seavert and three grandchildren, Ty Hammer age 4, Landyn Hammer, age 2 ½, and Stellan Harrison, age 4. He was preceded in death by his parents and his mother-in-law.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016 in Maple Grove, MN. Burial will be in Forman, ND. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to PebbleCreek Kare Bears.
