Donald Keith Urban

Donald “Don” Keith Urban was born on February 5, 1960 in Phoenix, Arizona to Kathryn Elaine Marshall and Donald Lee Urban. Don graduated from Coronado High School, Class of 78, in Scottsdale, AZ. He joined the US Navy after graduation and served tours of duty in Guam, Gaeta, Italy, and White Sands, New Mexico. Following the Navy, Don worked in the motion picture/television industry on transportation crews. Don had a lifelong love of fishing, hunting, golf and computer gaming.  But his true passion was cooking and traveling. Don was also a loving son and caretaker for his mother and step-father in recent years.

He is survived by his brother, David Staub of Payson (spouse Candy Staub), his sister, Kathrine Urban (spouse Jeff Linck), his maternal uncle Gerald Marshall (spouse Nancy Marshall), his step-father Walt Staub and the extended Marshall, Urban & Staub family members.  He is predeceased by his mother Kathryn Elaine Staub née Marshall, his father Donald Lee Urban, and his much loved maternal grandparents, Marion and Allene Marshall née Godman. Don is deeply loved by his family. His passing leaves a huge empty space in our lives but also memories of his smile, his quiet presence, and childhood red hair which turned silver-white with age.  We are grateful for the time we have had together with Don.

A graveside service will be held on March 12, 2021 at 11:00am at the Louis B. Hazelton Cemetery in Buckeye, Arizona.  Requested attire is jeans and casual wear which were Don’s preferred style.
