Leonard Brown, 77, of Buckeye, returned to his Family, Friends, and many Special Others in Heaven on 12 February 2016. Leonard married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Brown, in Phoenix October 3, 1958. During their lives together they had three children: Helen married to Larry Kovac, Bill married to Angela, and Leonard II married to Annette. He has six grandchildren: Arthur, George, Brandi, William, Haley, and Allison, as well as nine great-grandchildren.
He and his wife were the owners of Leonard’s Sew & Vac and Leonard’s Furniture & Carpet for many years. After retirement they enjoyed traveling, but being Camp Hosts in Flagstaff for several month each year was their favorite and most talked about adventure.
On Monday, 15 Feb, 2016 a viewing will be held, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am followed by a service from 11:00 – 12:00 at Thompson’s Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ. Owners Don, Dan, Grandma, and the employees of TJ’s Restaurant, 310 North Dysart, will hold a Celebration of Life luncheon for all to attend starting about 1 ½ hours after the service, at 12:30 pm.
