Socorro Jane Padilla, 68, of Goodyear, AZ passed away April 28, 2012 in Goodyear. She was born January 17, 1944 in San Diego, CA to Juan Jr. and Guadalupe (Valenzuela) Garcia. She moved to Arizona when she was one year old. She was a homemaker who loved to crochet and make crafts. She loved all as if they were family.She is survived by her husband, Frank Padilla; daughter, Zinnia Padilla; three sons, Joe (Hazel), John (Angie), and Danny. She is also survived by her three sisters, Eloisa Guerra of Mexico, Connie Cornero of Tolleson, and Dolores Penunuri of Avondale; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.Visitation is Wednesday, May 2 at Thompson’s Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd., Goodyear, AZ from 6:00 - 8:00 pm with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. Graveside service is at Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 W Thomas Rd, Avondale, AZ at 10:00 am.
