Donald Hatfield

Donald retired from the Air Force with 22 years of service. After the Air Force he continued working as a Civil Service Employee. When he finally retired, he became an avid golfer and loved to travel. His family was important to him; he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and made many cross-country road trips to be them.

He is survived by stepsister, Bonnie Walker of Holland MI., children, Jack Hatfield (Vickie) of Bloomfield IN; Donald Hatfield (Karen) of Folsom CA; Richard Hatfield (Selena) of Avondale AZ and Donna Marco (John) of Goshen NY., stepchildren Ed Newberry (Andrea) and Debbie Newberry Wilkins (Steve.) Donald had 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by Michiko K. Hatfield (first wife), Kimmie Hatfield (2nd wife) and his son, James Hatfield.

Services will be held on March 16, 2022, at Thompson Funeral Chapel, Goodyear AZ. From 8am until 11am (PST). Burial will be at 1:30pm (PST) at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at 1:30pm.
