Manuel L. Guerrero, age 91 of Avondale, AZ died January 22, 2017. He was born October 9, 1925 to Pablo and Theodora Guerrero. Manuel was a hard working agricultural worker born and raised in Arizona. He loved the outdoors, especially camping, hiking and fishing. He was a dedicated father, grandfather and husband. His love for his family was always known. He lived a long, good life. As he would say, “You better believe it!” and “Dios te beniga!”
Manuel is survived by his wife, Urbana Benita Guerrero; daughters, Bellia Cabrera, Juanita Rivera, Adelina Snider, Meroy Guerrero; sons, Jose, Ted, Pedro, Manuel, Jesus, and Tony Guerrero; 32 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lupe Sianz, and brothers, Francisco, Jesus and Pablo Guerrero.
A viewing will be held at 9:00am followed by a rosary at 9:30am and mass at 10:00am, Friday, January 27, 2017 at St John Vianney, 539 E La Pasada Blvd, Goodyear, AZ. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery,9925 W Thomas Rd, Avondale, AZ 85392.
