Joel Gallardo Estrella, 67, passed away on November 1, 2016 in Sacaton, Ariz. Joel worked for over 26 years in maintenance at The Caring House in Sacaton, Ariz. He loved to watch and talk about baseball. Joel was a great guitar player and loved to play for anyone who would listen. He was a caring and giving person and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Joel is survived by his brother Samuel Estrella, sisters Noemi (Keith) Hamilton, Blanca (Clemente) Vega, Velia Estrella, and Ruth Estrella; nieces and nephews; and many extended relatives. He was preceded in death by his father Juan P. Estrella, mother Maria de Jesus Estrella, and brother Juan Gallardo Estrella. Visitation will be held at 9:30am with Funeral services at 10:30am on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Phoenix Tabernacle, 1241 E. Baseline Rd in Phoenix, Ariz. 85042. Burial will follow in procession to Greenwood Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
