David Edward Littlejohn, age 77 passed away on September 9, 2019. He was born August 24, 1942, in St. Louis, MO, the oldest son of ten children born to Cleo and Emma (Patterson) Littlejohn. David served in the US Air Force for 23 years before retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam. Following his retirement, he worked in construction in civil service for 32 years.
David had a passion for cars, firetrucks, and trains. Muscle cars were a particular favorite. He built detailed model cars and was proud of his ‘69 Z28. He enjoyed watching westerns on television as well as shopping. He loved to take vacations and took his family to Disneyland every year.
Humble, kind, and unselfish, David took good care of his family and friends. He was a good listener who kept confidences without being critical or judgmental. He was a family man who enjoyed playing with his children and comforting them when they were sick. He had the ability to be both a mentor and a friend to his children.
David is survived by a loving wife, and family. Funeral services will be privately held.
